23 [31 days] Share your easy lunch ideas

Julie says: OK… We do bunches of meals and freeze them so dinners are easy.

I’m looking for a solution to the “Lunch” thing.

How can I make lunches in advance so that I can just grab and go every weekday morning. Sandwiches get soggy. Too hot for soups. Any ideas?

Have you tried making them the previous night and putting in the fridge?

Otherwise, do as I do and package each of the sandwich fixings separately, all in a cooler bag in the fridge, take with you to work/ school and assemble there.

  1. We usually do everything the night before and pack in the cooler bag in the fridge so that in the mornings we can just grab and go. I make a point of using dinner leftovers for this purpose as well.

      I do the same with my lunch. D prefers to make his fresh in the mornings. Then again I have 30 mins prep in the am and he has 2 hours LOL

  2. I usually bring leftovers to work for lunch, but do occasionally have a sandwich. I either bring the bits and assemble it at work, or use toasted bread. Keeps it from getting too soggy.
