As you know, notebooks are one of my favourite organising tools.
I have a not-so-slight addiction and in fact, I set a goal to give away 37 notebooks over the next year as one of the items on my 37 things list which I made for my birthday in August.
So far I’ve already given away 17 and we’re only three months in. I think I’m going to have to increase that goal to at least 50.
Moving on.
So this is my current favourite obsession.
Decorating notebooks. It combines stationery, one of my favourite things, and a new love, crafting.
I’m using the word “crafting” very loosely as I don’t consider myself creative in this way but I’ll share my stuff nonetheless. It may be inspiration for others of you who are more like me.
Presenting my notebooks 🙂
look at the fabric tape
and free printable Ms I found somewhere on the internet (I can’t remember where – if you know, tell me so I can link)
same with these be and love printable circles – free somewhere too
another M notebook – this one for me. I’m in love with the combination of blue and yellow, with brown
and still some more
aren’t those Ms gorgeous? (they’re not all for me – lots of gifts)
pink fabric tape
Marcia,
I love your note books. Being a fan of your blogs and reading your wonderful advise I too have a love of notebooks. There is nothing better than the feel of paper for note taking and planning.
Thanks, Dianne. I’m fully a paper gal.
Gorgeous!! I love the fabric tape. Great job, Marcia!!
thanks, Chloe – I am also LOVING the tape, esp that yellow one
LOVE notebooks. Especially the ones that you jazz up. I see how you’ve used the fabric tape. Love it.
I’ve only just started to experiment with making notebooks pretty and I can see that it’s going to be my new thing. I’ve been having LOADS of fun covering them with Felt material. There are going to be LOTS of those being given as Christmas gifts this year.
Must get myself one of those circle punches. Seems like you can do so much with them…
STUNNING STUNNING! 🙂
Hey Marcia, where’d you get the tape? A shop in SA or online? An online shop in SA? Thinking about shipping costs. I was just in Michaels, a huge craft shop in America, but didn’t see that. I make cards and that would be a wonderful tool!
Laura, how nice to hear from you!
I got my fabric tape from this etsy shop – I use hers A LOT for both fabric and washi tape. I have a bit of an etsy addiction…
This is my favourite etsy shop – I think I’ve bought about 15 items from her… 🙂
http://www.etsy.com/shop/kawaiigoodies and be sure to check the store policies as you get some freebies if you buy a certain amount
I’ve also used these two to buy washi tape. They’re based in Japan and things arrive faster than from the US.
