One month in… a book giveaway for Live Organised

Today is the one-month anniversary of the book launch ๐Ÿ™‚

It feels much longer.

I finally plucked up the courage to actually look at book sales (honestly, I’ve been too scared to look :)) and thank goodness, I don’t have to be embarrassed, so a big THANK YOU to you if you’ve bought either the Kindle or a physical copy.

If you’ve read the book, please leave a review on Amazon. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a look here and get your copy.

1.

I’m still investigating a good option to get a batch of physical books to the South Africans because shipping is crazy expensive.

At the moment I can get it down to R110 (inclusive of postage and packing). Give me til the end of this week and either 1) we’ll go with that option or 2) I’ll have found something a teensy bit cheaper.

2.

This week I want to give away a Kindle copy of the book.

There are a number of ways to enter:

  • leave a comment telling me what your burning question is with getting and staying organised – this one is compulsory ๐Ÿ™‚
  • share this post on Facebook
  • Tweet about this giveaway

The giveaway ends on Friday 12pm EST (6pm SA time) and I’ll announce the winner next Monday.

Otherwise, what are you looking forward to doing this week?

I get to think about and plan my next Kindle book, all while I’m packing party packs ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Well done you!
I actually wanted to order some paper copies (one autographed copy for me and maybe two more) to give as gifts. I will wait for your feedback and then send you a mail.
    xx

Oh, and this week I am looking forward to some time-out from my kids. I know that this sounds really bad. I am also looking forward to ALONE TIME with my DH. It’s school holidays and they are sleeping over at Granny! I think we may actually relax for a change. And I’m going to check out a school for Child2 tomorrow.

  2. I am looking forward to continuing to move forward on the prework I need to do for school. DH and I are also enjoying some quiet time alone in the evenings while the kids are at their grandparents too!

  3. So…. Burning question……what do you do with all the bags of stuff that come in and out of the house several times a week? Like the piano bag, swim bag, hula bag… Etc. I do not have a hall. Loser to tuck them into out of sight.

Right now my burning question is how do I get the rest of the family on-board with organising and having things kept in their place.. so that its not always a battle of “perfectionist organiser vs. take a chill-pill family” ๐Ÿ˜‰

School holidays starting end of June. Orgainising school papers and memorabilia, photos and how to keep my nine year old princess busy and to manage our holiday time productive.

  6. My children love playing with Lego but cleanup and storage is a nightmare. Can you help me come up with a system to store, display and playLego without the chaos. I would prefer to keep the various sets separate, Please help!

  7. Response to โ€œOne month inโ€ฆ a Kindle book giveaway for Live Organisedโ€.
I lost my husband 2 years ago, and I still have a lot of his thiings in the house that I am finding difficult to clear. My burning question is โ€“ how do I let go of these things that are no longer of use to me? They all hold memories in one way or another (a jumper that he wore, the electric razor I bought him for his birthday, etc etc), so how do I donate/throw them away? I know they are but inanimate objects, but just the idea of putting them in a bin bag or box distresses me. Can you help?

Staying motivated is the most difficult part. Have neglected the house for so long that I get one area cleared and I want to rest on my laurels rather than moving on to the next area. Need to get everything done in the next 6 weeks before my son comes home on leave. Constantly getting sidetracked reading newspapers or books. Have television on for background noise but end up “just watching this one part”. An hour later I haven’t accomplished anything. HELP!

  9. Congratulations! …. I’m beaming for you!

    I don’t know if I have a burning question. …

or maybe I just don’t have one. …

Staying motivated? Getting others to help when you need help? Keeping it together when the piles fall apart? I’ve found being the “hold onto it” person in the family makes it extremely difficult to let stuff go while going through my mom’s stuff. Does my Dad still want it? Do one of my sister’s want it?

    Hugs!

  10. Happy Anniversary. How do you keep all your dates in order? Obviously I’ve got a calendar, but I still don’t get things like birthday cards with enough time to get the delivered in time. Any particular calendar app that you prefer? Thanks Julie
