I love my new water bottles

I bought three water bottles last week and I love them so much I’m posting about them much sooner than I normally do.

Isn’t that just gorgeous?

It’s the Consol Grip and Go bottle – they come in a number of gorgeous colours – I have hot pink, lime-green and purple ๐Ÿ™‚

They take 500ml water so I know I have to drink 4 a day and somehow I feel cuter drinking from these than from the styrofoam (ugh!) cups at work. For one, they’re glass but also the spout is about 3 cm wide so it almost feels like you’re drinking out of a drinking glass, which makes the whole drinking water thing a lot easier.

Do you find it easy to drink water? What’s your methodย  of getting it all down?

This post is not sponsored although I do love glass so if Consol wants me to review some other things, I’d love that ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love them too, but where did you buy them? Adrian has one which was bought for him by someone at work. I think it was from Westpack but I haven’t seen them there lately.

Caren, I see the lady from Consol responded.
They are only R18.50 at the Consol shop in Woodmead or Stellenbosch. Other retail outlets like Game, PnP, Wespak etc sell them for more but they are still really reasonable. Itโ€™s good. Itโ€™s in glass!

  2. Love the bottle, it’s so cool! Though my greatest fear is I’ll drop and break it. I drink lots of water on average, my trick it has to be extremely ice cold, that way I can drink 3 litres in a day

If it breaks, you just buy another ๐Ÿ™‚ but it’s surprisingly sturdy and those grip and go silicone sections work well./

  3. I drink my water out of a Starbucks re-usable plastic cup. It’s double walled so it stays colder a bit longer, the straw makes it easier for me for some reason. I keep it by my spot (or nest as the hubby calls it) so I can sip whenever. I have dogs and cats so glass anything doesn’t work, my cup has been knocked over by tails and wild cats so many times.

But that bottle is so pretty!

great idea! I’m a little concerned with the kids breaking my bottles too but then again, I’m having SUCH fun with real glass that they’re worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

Not a great idea to use plastic that leaches BPA … and glass keeps its contents colder for longer than any other packaging … proven in studies … so definitely get a Grip and Go bottle.
