Guys, remember how I said before that my bullet journal was too pretty for scribbling?
It was all about the cute factor!
Well, I’ve got over that mindset challenge and I now scribble, make budgeting notes, highlight, use different colour pens on the same page, etc. I half-fill pages, I cross off things and I actually (gasp!) use my notebook.
And the fact that I have all the information with me in this little bullet journal makes me a lot happier.
Who else is bullet journalling?
Have you relaxed your standards, or were you realistic about the cute factor from the start? 😉
I honestly never really looked at the posts by other people about the bullet journals so the cute and pretty is not what appealed – rather the practical. I love it btw – and think this is what I will do in future. May just do a post on it
That’s a good thing but if you want to take a quick peek, click on the #bulletjournal hashtag on Instagram and you’ll see why some people get put off by the perfection and cuteness 🙂
Love colourful pens, even have a multicolour pencil!
Need to reintroduce some paper into my life!
Jill, you should have a look around at the cute (but thin) notebooks. It doesn’t feel wasteful at all because you know there’s actually a finish line 🙂
Now I have to go search bullet journals because I’m definitely living in the dark ages…
There is a ton of cuteness but focus on the actual aim of the tool 🙂
I have only just started. No cute business for me!
Much safer 🙂
