The week that was… weekly reflections… 15

very odd driving on the highway at night while there is loadshedding

I’m feeling very discombobulated at the moment so this is going to be short!

I cannot believe how few people currently read this blog – it’s completely disheartening and is giving me pause even though I know I write for myself. I used to tell myself “no-one reads blogs like they used to” but actually, that’s not true.

This week I only finished one book – The trouble with goats and sheep by Joanna Cannon – I’m still not sure what to make of it but gave it an overall rating of 3,75. I should finish 2 – 3 books in the next week though.

And that’s it for this week! Hope yours was better than mine.

I have been reading your blog for a while 🙂 it is not often I come to the blog though as I use the Feedly app to keep me up to date on blogs I follow. I have seen you post quite regularly on Instagram which I feel is a shame as it isn’t your platform and they could wipe your content at any moment. Instagram is also just full of Mums trying to sell themselves and a brand now which I hate.

Things to do to drive traffic:
Comment on other people’s blogs and then people can click on your name and come through to your blog
Comment on people’s insta posts and then they might come through to your insta page but don’t have much on your insta page maybe a post saying where you hang out on your blog.
    STOP posting on insta!
Have 3 different blog posts a week
    1. The weekly review you do already..love it!
    2. 1 organisation hack
    3. 1 planner page that is working for you and books read
People are also really into podcasts at the moment and that could be a way to get more traffic. Try and get invited to speak on a podcast.

Good Luck with it and I hope you continue to post here 😊
